Rachel Mansfield (Director) was most recently the theater teacher at The Independent Day School in Middlefield, Connecticut. She has worked as a Drama Instructor in districts throughout the state including Hartford, Wilton, Portland and East Hampton. Rachel earned her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Musical Theater at HARTT and is currently certified to teach grades 7-12 in Connecticut. Matthew Campisi (Music Director) is a Piano Performance major at The Hartt School. He works as Music Director at St.Colman Church in Middlefield as well as assistant organist at St.Sebastian Church in Middletown. His musical director credits include: Grease, The Pajama Game, Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell, and West Side Story. Jennifer Friday (Choreographer) is the Drama Director at the CREC Learning Corridor and is certified in Connceticut to teach grades K-8. Among Jennifer's teaching accomplishments are Bloomfield Teacher of the Year and receiving of the Mary Hunter Wolffe Award for her contributions to children's theater in Connecticut. Marilyn Friday (Art) has been with YPCCA for over twenty years. During her tenure at YPCCA, she has taught a wide variety of fine arts classes including: Make-up, Jewelry Design, Set Construction and Batiking. She was formerly an English teacher at RHAM high school where she also served as the Drama Director. Christopher Briggs (Acting) is currently teaching English at Middletown High School in Middletown, CT. Chris is a graduate of the HARTT School where he was seen in such roles as Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, and Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods. Chris most recently directed The Sound of Music at Middletown High School. Nathan Briggs (Stage Manager) is a Guidance Counselor at Middletown High School. He is an acting coach, the YPCCA stage manager for our productions and is critical to the design and construction of our sets. Ben Fisher (Improvisation, Scene Writing) is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Mass with a BFA in theater. Ben specializes in the creation of new and exciting lunch games each year at YPCCA. Ryan Morann Addario (Audition Coach) is a proud YPCCA alum and has appeared as a professional actor in Equity productions of Barnum, Beauty & the Beast, and Heart Burn. He is currently based in New York City pursuing a political science major, and living the life of an actor-dancer-singer-model-nanny. Ally Mazzarella (Dance) is a full time dance major at Hofstra University. She has been involved in the dance works show in school and also in Movom performances. She has choreographed for the Mercy High School Show Choir and also Junior Show Choir at YPCCA. |
